Responsibilities

Logistics Analyst provides supportability analysis and planning for surface directed energy systems for U.S. Navy surface ships. Ideal candidate has experience with:

  • U.S. Navy ship system maintenance and supply chain management
  • Logistics Supportability Analysis using MIL-HDBK-502 and Logistics Product Data using GEIA-STD-0007
  • Provisioning including familiarity with the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) software
  • Programming and budgeting including developing 7300 and budget using the Budget Asset Memorandum (BAM) process to program funds for spare parts, and entering data in Program Support Data (PSD) Automated Reporting and Tracking System (PARTS)
  • Developing technical documents, reports, and quantitative analyses such as Business Case Analyses
  • Management of technical manual development and sustainment
  • Management of training system (e.g., curriculum, training equipment, computer based/virtual training)
  • Supporting ship installation planning and execution
  • Reliability and maintainability (R&M) analyses and an understanding of R&M computer software models
Qualifications
  • Secret Clearance Required
  • BS or BA with suitable experience with fleet ballistic missile equipment weapon system life cycle logistics management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and R&M software (e.g., Windchill Risk and Reliability, Opus Suite) are highly desirable
  • Location: Hybrid delivery with 2-3 days/week in the office in Washington DC.
